Over the years several clubs along Port Melbourne Esplanade Beach have merged to form the current Port Melbourne Life saving Club, these records have been taken from Royal Life Saving Society Australia - Victoria Branch Minutes. (RLSSA-V)

19th Sep 1973 Club non-existant, club house taken over by a group called 'The Sportsmens Club'
8th May 1990 Club house to be demolished, no patrols to be undertaken by club, Sth Melbourne LSC will extend their patrol area.
22nd Aug 1992 New club room building commenced, club reopened 1992
7th May 1996 Qualified Lifesavers 14
5th Jun 1997 9 Qualified members, 15 Patrolling members
20th Jul 2000 Boating grant $4,100
2002 Merged with Middle Park (Esplanade) Life Saving Club - (club cap and colours changed)

19th Mar 1936 Application to alter Costume - Granted (No mention of design)
20th Oct 1938 Received 200 pounds from St Kilda Foreshore Committee to build new Club House
Feb 1939 New club rooms opened
1966 Unable to carry out extensions to Club House due to adjoining Roadway. Road way to be re-routed and club house will need to be demolished.
1967 Merged with Middle Park Life Saving Club

29th Dec 1939 Middle Park Surf Life Saving Club changed name to Middle Park Swimming and Life Saving Club
30th Sep 1945 Name changed again to Middle Park Life Saving Club

1958 Merged with McGregor St Life Saving Club
18th Dec 1958 McGregor St LSC colours registered as Middle Park LSC Colours
19th Nov 1959 RLSSA-V Secretary (E Pleydell) taken over club books, no meeting held since Nov 1958 to re-organize club
1967 Merged with Esplanade LSC, renamed Middle Park (Esplanade) Life Saving Club
16th Mar 1972 In difficulty with membership numbers
20th Dec 1973 Illegally broken into by the Port Phillip Conservation Authority
19th Jun 1975 Club house broken into. New President reassigned Cr Macey
15th Feb 1996 8 Patrolling members, 30 members in total
1st May 1997 21 qualified members, 19 patrolling
2022 Merged with Port Melbourne Life Saving Club due to deterioration of Beach and club rooms.
