Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC) - 13 to 14 years Old
21.5 Hours (Training Modules 1 to 6)
Bronze Bridging (SRC moving to Bronze) - 15 Years Old
24.5 Hours (Training Modules 7 to 10, revision 1 to 6)
Bronze Medallion 15 Years and above
39.5 Hours (Training Modules 1 to 10)
Note : you need to be the minimum age before the last day of the course (assessment)
Lunch and Snacks
Each training session at the club you will be provided lunch and morning/afternoon tea.
Patrol Uniform Provided
Patrol Shirt, Patrol Shorts, Quartered Cap, Peak Cap, additional uniforms can be purchased (spray jackets etc).
Patrol Team
Once qualified you can join a Patrol team and start patrolling, we have 5 patrol teams with minimum 2 shifts per month.
Nippers
You can help with the Nippers program as water safety and helping to train Nippers on the boards and the beach.
Future Training
All training provided by the club is free of charge to current members, including First Aid, Advanced Resuscitation and all other lifesaving awards, IRB etc.

Make sure on the Member Training Home page (top of the screen) your Club ID is PML ,if not email the ✉️ Club Administrator to rectify (if you can't see any courses, this is why (wrong club ID).
Login to the LSV Member Training Website (using your SLS Hub account and password)
Select SEARCH COURSES
Under Filter Courses (select the arrow right top corner to open)
Select Type of Course or Workshop - * See below (select one only)
Search by Course Name / Location / ID - Port Melbourne
You can then ENROL in the course and follow the instructions, only select the course that you can complete.

NOTE : The club spends a lot of time and money training our lifesavers, so it is expected that you commit to voluntary patrols at the end of your training.
