DRSABCD
Candidate to demonstrate through Lifesaving CPR practical session:
A primary assessment (DRSAB—) on a live victim including the demonstration of the lateral position.
Primary assessment (DRSABCD), LCPR1 and 2 person – adult on an approved manikin – to include resuscitation methods using a resuscitation mask or face shield and AED.
Team LCPR scenario including primary assessment (DRSABCD) – to include resuscitation methods using a resuscitation mask or face shield and AED.

Radio Operations
Radio demonstration to be completed as part of Lifesaving CPR.
Pre-operation checks
Knowledge of local operating channels and groups
Inter-patrol communications
Rescue procedures and requests for assistance, which include the four P’s.
Signals
Demonstrate four (4) signals (chosen by the TAF), including:
Beach to water signals
Water to beach signals
Tower and other signals
Fitness & Rescue
Run – Swim – Rescue (100m Run and 100m Swim in 3:30 minutes or less)
Run 100m from a flag, around a marker and to waist-deep water.
Swim 100m (with a rescue tube, fins optional) to a patient 100m out. Timed component ends here.
Perform a rescue of 100m with a tube and conscious patient to dry sand.
