The Beach Wheelchair is only available on Patrol Days between 1pm and 4pm
The Patrol Captain on the day will determine if it is safe to use based on beach conditions and lifesaving resources available.
The Mobi-Chair, also referred to as an accessible floating beach wheelchair, lets you hit the sand and go swimming.
These specialised chairs were created for coastal surroundings and outdoor use.
They are perfect for those with decreased mobility or disabilities, whether they be permanent or temporary.
Mobi-Chairs have armrests and wheels composed of materials that make the chair float in water. They are made to enter water up to a support person's waist height. Additional stability on land and in the water is provided by the armrests' integrated handles.
